To start off the new year we're planning on bowling with family, dinner with friends and I get to have a mini retreat with some friends sewing at the quilt shop! I'm really looking forward to the quote-unquote "relaxed" pace these next few days. It seems spending time with friends and family gets harder and harder so I'm trying to make a conscious effort to slow down and enjoy when I can.

I never thought this is what I would be doing at this stage in my life but I honestly couldn't be happier with how the journey is going. 2013, here I come!
