New Pattern: General Jack

I know you shouldn't pick favorites, but this quilt has a special place in my heart:

General Jack is the newest pattern for Ruby Blue, he is a wonderful scrappy 44" x 44" quilt full of stars galore.

General Jack is designed to use Fat Eighths, but if you feel like using up some Fat Quarters - go for it!

Or - if you and I find the same love for scrap quilts - go ahead and raid that stash for more variety!

You can purchase this pattern by heading on over to my shop and just for you all (since you're awesome!) this week only you can buy it for just $5!

I didn't get around to it last year, but I'm planning on making another one of these in Civil War reds and greens. I have a lovely stash of Miss Jo Morton's lovely Ember Reds & Evergreens line and some other wonderful prints that I think would make a beautiful Christmas quilt. I like Christmas, but I'm not a fan of the over the top Christmas stuff (if you know what I mean). I think out of Civil War I could leave it up a bit longer than a typical "Christmas" quilt... I'll keep you posted if I eventually get around to it...

Soooo, what do you think?! What colors and fabrics would you make it out of? Inquiring minds want to know! Have a great week!
