A Charmed Living Runner all the way from Singapore!
Vivien e-mailed me this picture of her finished project. She made it using the Nature's Chorus line by Moda and it just looks prefect for Spring. Thanks Vivien for the e-mail, I'm glad you enjoyed the project! You can check out her blog over at http://madewithcotton.blogspot.com/.
Even though it has been unseasonably warm here after the feet of snow we got all in one day last month, yesterday and today finally look like it should outside in February. Still no snow on the ground, but maybe by this weekend they are saying...
Alas, seeing this cheery project makes me soooo ready for Spring to arrive. Actually, it's trying already... I checked on my flowers the other day and my daffodils are already about 6" tall and my paper white bulbs I planted last fall are coming up in nice hearty bunches. I just hope they will be okay if we get more snow this winter.
So once again I'd like to thank Vivien for her e-mail! Do you have any projects you've made using one of my recipes on the Moda Bake Shop or one of my patterns that you'd like to share? If you e-mail them to me I will gladly post them on here!
Tomorrow night is the big opening reception at the Lake Farmpark Quilts 2012 Show... Ben and I will be there with camera in hand for a night meeting up with out-of-town friends, chatting and lots and lots of inspiration. This weekend I will be back with pictures galore and stories to share... really good ones! Until next time, have a great day!
Will you find out if yours or your mothers quilts won? Good luck and have fun. You must post and let us know if either of you won anything.
ReplyDeleteVivien did a great job on that runner. I love any fabric by April Cornell! We haven't had much snow here in IL either. I'm kind of liking that. :)
